Alone in my quiet space
My heart searches for the love we once knew
Though life was not perfect
It was ours to share and experience together
But I never imagined it without you
The good times and the bad, the happy and sad have all been shared with you
It is almost as if life began when we met and now seemingly it is ending with you no longer by my side
I must bid farewell to your physical presence

The love and support of friends and family carries me through

He gave us this time together and now he has left me to continue the journey without you
